Seasons of Love

Feel priveleged to have seen Rent four times this week from almost every possible vantage point in the Civic Center; twice in the second row. I've lost track, but I think this is thirteen or fourteen times now. Friday was the best show I've ever seen.

Wonderful to see the original Mark and Roger, but the biggest thrill was Gwen Stewart, the original screaming diva featured in Seasons of Love. So fun to notice for the first time her dancing on the bucket in Santa Fe, and shaking her thing in La Vie Boheme.

I still see something new in each performance. My biggest question this tour is why isn't Gwen featured on the bill and posters with Adam and Anthony? She is as much of an icon of Rent as anyone.
