Gillian Welch

Was wonderful to see Gillian Welch perform at Hoyt Sherman last night. Here is a bad cameraphone picture of her and David Rawling doing "Long Black Veil" without the benefit of microphones. Along with most of my favorites of her originals, they also did a kickass cover of "Jackson." The look on David's face the entire concert seemed to convey his disbelief that he got paid for doing what he loves.
